Please read through the below information. Once done, you can request assistance with a courier booking.

- You can sell your pre-loved/used baby goods to us, no matter where you are! (SA Only)
- Budget Baby offers an easy way to sell your goods safely, with little hassle. All you need to do is box it up!
- The whole process takes approximately 1 to 4 working days.

STEP 1: Read through our standard offer policy (below).
STEP 2: Calculate your estimated offer.
STEP 3: If you are happy with the estimated offer/ margins that we offer, request a courier booking.
STEP 4: Package your goods (please see below guidelines on courier charges and packaging).
STEP 5: Once goods arrive at our store, receive your final offer and get paid.

STANDARD OFFER POLICY:
- We offer a set margin of 20 - 30% of current or last know retail for pre-loved/used baby goods.
There may be some exceptions in which case we may offer more or less, for example;
Goods are broken or there are missing parts.
Higher end goods with little demand.
Higher end goods with higher demand.
Older goods (Example: a 10 year old travel system is not worth as much as a 3 year old travel system and may be expired.)

- You are not required to sell your used goods with the original packaging/ boxes, however if you do have it, you are welcome to bring it with.
-  We clean all items that we purchase, however we ask sellers to please be considerate and wipe down dirty/ dusty goods and wash used breast pumps.

- It is easy to calculate an estimate offer. Simply check the current or last know retail price of your goods, and use the following method:
(a) Example: Retail is R1 000 - Type into Google '30% of 1000'.
(b) Example: Retail is R6 000 - Type into Google '20% of 6000'.
(c) Example: Retail is R900 - Type into Google '25% of 900'.
Budget Baby reserves the right to adjust the estimated offer accordingly or choose not to take the item at all should any issues not be disclosed beforehand or noted at the time of inspection. 
Budget Baby reserves the right to respectfully decline purchasing goods with extreme wear and/or tear, broken goods etc.

- Budget Baby will not provide any offers or estimates via email, telephone and/or social channels based on photos. Photos can be deceiving and we will only make a final offer once we have seen and inspected the actual items. Kindly use our % margins for an estimate.
- You are welcome to get in touch and forward images if you would like to find out if we would buy your goods / specific type of goods (083 776 9573). Please click here for a list of goods we buy and do not buy.

- We offer 40 - 60% of current or last known retail for new, sealed, unused goods.
- Budget Baby is not an authorized/ registered reseller for any baby brand, we therefore are not allowed to sell new items at their current retail price, we will also not offer current retail price on any new items.
- To calculate an estimate offer for new goods, simply check the current or last know retail price of your goods, and use the following method: 
(a) Example: Retail is R1 000 - Type into Google '40% of 1000'. 
(b) Example: Retail is R6 000 - Type into Google '50% of 6000'. 
(c) Example: Retail is R900 - Type into Google '60% of 900'.

REQUEST A COURIER BOOKING:
Once you have read through our offer policy, and you would like to go ahead, kindly send a WhatsApp message to 083 776 9573.
Please include a list of the items that you would like to send/ sell.
Once we have sent the relevant information and the package(s) is ready, we will forward you a waybill.
Packages are normally delivered withing 1 to 4 working days via Aramex or Courier Guy.
Once the package arrived, we will let you know and complete final inspection.
Payment will then be done via immediate EFT, on the same day, to bank account of your choice.

COURIER FEES:
- Budget Baby does make the necessary courier arrangements for you. We will look for the most cost effective option (door to door, Pudo etc)
- We cover 50% of the courier fees and the remaining 50% is deducted from the final offer.
- Courier fees normally range from R60 to R250 depending on area of collection, number and size of packages.
(Example, if the total courier fee is R100, then R50 will be deducted from the final offer and we will cover the other R50)
- Kindly note, if you do not accept our final offer, or if the goods are sent to us in an un-sellable state, you will be liable for both courier fees in full.

PACKAGING YOUR GOODS:
- It is very important that your goods are packaged properly and securely so that it does not get damaged in transit.
- The goods must be packaged either in boxes, and / or bubble wrap and plastic wrap.
- It is advisable to disassemble goods completely before packaging.
- Kindly make sure that all components are packed, screws, cables, attachments etc.
- Budget Baby will not accept any responsibility for goods that get damaged in transit.
- Please note that we are unable to buy furniture such as wooden cots and compactums via courier.
